Material examined. 3 females (slide number NJAUAcariEriH39-2), from Salix sp. (Salicaceae) , 6 females and 3 males (slide number NJAUAcariEriH55), from Salix gracilistyla Miq. (Salicaceae) , Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province, P. R. China, 47°43'36''N, 128°55'12''E, elevation 234m, 25 July 2008, coll. Xiao-Feng Xue, Zhen Wang & Zi-Wei Song.
Hosts. Salix gracilistyla Miq. , Salix pyrolifolia Ledeb. , Salix sp. (Salicaceae) .
Relation to host. Vagrant.
Distribution. China (Gansu, Heilongjiang, Shaanxi, Tibet, Xinjiang).
Note. This species occurred together with Aculus tetanothrix ( Nalepa, 1889) .
