Ammiq Reserve, N 33˚ 43.996 E 35˚47.035, 876 m asl, wetland, 24.X.2012, net, 1 female, leg. P. Dominiak (UG). Fghal, 15.VI.2011, Malaise trap, 1 male (LU).

Distribution. Dasyhelea modesta is widespread in the Palaearctic ( Dominiak & Szadziewski 2010). Up to now, in the Middle East it was known from Egypt ( Macfie 1943), Yemen ( Boorman & van Harten 2002) and Iran ( Szadziewski 1986). New for Israel and Lebanon.
