Material examined. Lebanon. Jezzine waterfall, 01.V.2012, net, 2 males, leg. P. Dominiak (LU & UG).

Distribution. The species was previously known only from Europe, as reported from France ( Delécolle & Rieb 1990), Norway ( Hagan et al. 2000), Czech Republic ( Tóthová & Knoz 2006) and Estonia ( Remm 1962). This is the first record from Lebanon and from the region of the Near East.
