Diagnosis. Adult ( Figs. 6, 7 View FIGURES 2 - 7 ) with wingspan 31.5 – 37.5 mm. This species is very similar to P. ussurialis , but can be differentiated by the much slenderer fore wing in male, the curved sella apically exceeding ventral margin of the valva in the male genitalia ( Fig. 16 View FIGURES 14 – 17 ), and the antrum with a pair of latero-medial processes in the female genitalia ( Fig. 23 View FIGURES 21 – 26 ). In P. ussurialis , the sella does not reach ventral margin of the valva, and the antrum has no process.
Distribution. China (Hebei, Shanxi, Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang), Japan, Russia (Amur, Chabarowsk).
Ecology. Caught in mountain from 800 m to 1475 m. Flight period in July.
