Diagnosis (male). Typical wing maculation adjacent to CuA1, M1 and M2, near to Rs apex and as a square anteriorly to M1.
Material examined. Holotype ♂, COSTA RICA , Puntarenas: 24 km W Piedras Blancas , 8.77ºN, 83.4ºW, xii.1990, Malaise trap, 200 m, P. Hanson col. ( LACM) GoogleMaps . Paratypes: 1♂, COSTA RICA : Limon: 16 km W Gualipes , 10.15ºN, 83.92ºW, iii–v.1990, Malaise trap, 400 m, P. Hanson col. ( LACM) GoogleMaps ; 1♂, same as holotype but, iii–iv.1989, P. Hanson & I. Gauld col. (LACM).
Hypopygium description ( Fig. 83). The hypopygium of this species is very similar to that of C. bilineata , differing by its short posterior projection of the right epandrial margin ( Fig. 83, black arrow).
Geographical distribution. Costa Rica and Panama.
