Coniceromyia kerteszii (Brues)
Conicera kerteszii Brues, 1905: 399 . Holotype ♂, Peru, Vilcanota (destroyed).
Coniceromyia kerteszii ; Schmitz, 1927: 66. Refs.: Schmitz 1929: 126; Borgmeier 1950: 298.
Comments. The holotype of Coniceromyia kerteszii was destroyed in the fire in the Hungarian Natural History Museum in 1956, together with 200,000 other Diptera specimens, including more than 3,000 types ( Boros 1957). The original description of C. kerteszii is not detailed enough to allow the recognition of additional material of this species.
