Paratypes: 1 ♂, 1 ♀. MEXICO : Sonora, Mazatlán , 29/IV/2004. Cols. A. Vovides & J. González. Dioon sonorense ♂ cone ; emerged VII-2004. Labeled: “♂5” and “♀7”.

Conservation status: Complete, well-preserved.
