Presenta una distribución Paleártica, Afrotropical y Oriental (Alonso-Zarazaga & Lyall, 1999). En la región Paleártica está representado por nueve especies, de las cuales sólo una habita en la Península Ibérica ( Alonso-Zarazaga, 2002, 2011).
