Entomobrya aipatse Arlé, 1959

Entomobrya aipatse Arlé, 1959: 169 , Figs 131–135, Brazil, Mato Grosso state, Alto Xingu municipality (currently River of “Culuene-Portô”) in “Aipatse indigenous group at Pôsto Indigena Capitão Vasconcelos” (currently “Posto Leonardo Villas Bôas”), Fig. 72 (original description).

Typological note. The type material of E. aipatse deposited at MNRJ was destroyed in the fire of September 2018 .

Distribution. In the original description, E. aipatse was reported only for the type locality, Mato Grosso state, Alto Xingu municipality ( Fig. 72 ), but the species was not found in our samplings ( Fig. 35 ).

Remarks. Entomobrya aipatse Arlé, 1959 is similar to other three Brazilian species ( Entomobrya ataquensis Arlé, 1959 ; E. idenilzae sp. nov. and E. uai ) by unguiculus III ai lamella excavate ( Table 3). Until this species is redescribed in the future, it is currently distinguished from others by Abd IV anteriorly with two small spots of pigment (different in other species); antenna shorter than the body length (longer in E. ataquensis , E. idenilzae sp. nov., and E. uai ) ( Figs 60E–H , 61G–L ), unguiculus pe lamella partially serrated (smooth in E. ataquensis , E. idenilzae sp. nov., and E. uai ) ( Fig. 65 ), and mucro proximal tooth larger than the distal one (subequal in E. ataquensis and E. uai ).
