Pronotum with anterior margin roughly straight, posterior margin rounded; lateral lobe longer than high, posterior margin tapering; humeral sinus absent. Thoracic auditory spiracle comparatively large, exposed, peanutshaped.

Tegmina slightly surpassing apices of hind femora, narrow, apices rounded. Hind wings shorter than tegmina.

All femora without spines on ventral surfaces. Fore coxa with a spine; fore tibia with 4 spines on both sides of ventral surface; tibial tympana open on both sides, long oval. Hind femur with genicular lobes rounded; hind tibia with 27–30 spines on both sides of dorsal surface, and one pair of dorsal apical spurs and ventral apical spurs respectively.

Tenth abdominal tergite broader than long, posterior margin lightly concave. Cercus divided into dorsal and ventral branches; dorsal branch short, thin, apex rounded; ventral one slightly long, curved ventrad and inward, the middle slightly broadened, apex subacute. Genitalia conical, base stout, apex rounded. Subgenital plate with base slightly broad, apical area narrow, lateral carinae distinct, posterior margin rounded; styli long on lateral margins of subapex of subgenital plate.

Measurement (mm). Body: ♂ 8.6–8.8, ♀ 11.5–12.0; pronotum: ♂ 3.5–3.6, ♀ 3.6–3.7; tegmina: ♂ 9.2–9.3, ♀ 11.3–11.5; hind femora: ♂ 8.1–8.3, ♀ 9.5–10.0; ovipositor: 6.6–7.0.

Discussion. The new species is different from Neoteratura longigenitala sp. nov. in: male cercus divided into two branches, dorsal branch short, thin, apex rounded; ventral one slightly long, curved ventrad and inward, the middle slightly broadened, apex subacute; genitalia conical, base stout, apex rounded.
