Generitype of Paspalum Linnaeus (vide Nash, N. Amer. Fl. 17: 165. 1912).

Current name: Paspalum dissectum (L.) L. ( Poaceae ).

Note: An illegitimate name for Panicum dissectum L. (1753) .
