Notes
Often found boring in oysters. Type locality: Mediterranean (Gulf of Naples). Sato-Okoshi et al. (2016), in agreement with the taxonomic observations of Radashevsky and Migotto (2016), provided molecular evidence that Polydora uncinata Sato-Okoshi, 1998 is a synonym of Polydora hoplura .
