Material examined. Vietnam: Lang Son (near Hữu Liên National Park )— Tonkinomys daovantieni ( ZMMU, May 2012, 76 larvae) .

Distribution. China ( Li et al. 1997).

Remarks. Examined specimens differs from the original description from Yunnan province of China by the PSB length (105–117 vs. 118–131) and shorter legs (Ip = 655 vs. 706–789) ( Yu et al. 1980).
