Etymology L humida   HNS , moist, damp, referring to the habitat of the type series.

diagnosis A member of the punctatissima   HNS group distinguished by the forward placement of the eye, which in the major is as close to the genal margin as its own length and in the minor approaches the genal margin to within half its length. Both castes have long, thin propodeal spines, and completely smooth and shiny gasters, occiputs, and sides of the pronotum. The major has rugulae along the front and lateral margins of the pronotal dorsum, and long, dense pilosity on the gaster. Both castes are yellow. Measurements (mm) Holotype major: HW 0.92, HL 0.94, SL 0.60, EL 0.14, PW 0.46. Paratype minor: HW 0.52, HL 0.54, SL 0.54, EL 0.14, PW 0.34.

Color Major: head and mandibles light reddish yellow, rest of body and appendages medium yellow. Minor: concolorous medium yellow.

range Known only from the type locality.

Biology Collected in a rotten log in montane rainforest (P. S. Ward).
