Diagnosis

Upper frons comparatively narrow (figure 97), but not as narrow as in metallicus (figure 95); entire antenna white, pedicel infuscate at base; female scape narrow (as in vittatus (figure 98)); mid lobe of mesoscutum with a distinct median groove in posterior two-thirds (figure 24); thoracic dorsum dark with golden-purple tinges, dull, convex; fore coxa dark and metallic, mid and hind coxae white; female with posterior margin of pale area on gaster incised medially (figures 6, 105).
