Diagnosis

Flagellum long (figure 47), flagellomere I 2.0×, II 2.3× and III 1.8× as long as wide, and comparatively hairy; eyes comparatively small, ratio HE/MS=1.5; fore wing ± infuscate; median longitudinal groove on occiput absent.

Male (length of body= 1.1 mm)

Colour. Scape and pedicel dark brown, flagellum paler. Head and mesosoma dark with golden tinges. Coxae, femora and tibiae dark and ± metallic, tarsi infuscate with fourth segment darkest, median tarsus darker than fore and hind tarsi. Fore wing ± infuscate. Gaster dark with golden tinges, membranes whitish.

Head. Antenna as in figure 47. HE/MS/MO: 1.5/1.0/1.2. Frons and vertex with weak reticulation, meshes transverse. Posterior ocelli situated at occipital margin; POL/OOL: 3.0/1.0. Occipital margin rounded; transverse groove on occiput ± distinct, median longitudinal groove absent. WH/WT=1.0.

Mesosoma . Mesoscutum convex, 0.6× as long as wide, with rather strong and engraved reticulation, anterior one-third with isodiametric meshes, posterior two-thirds with elongate meshes, with one pair of setae situated close to anterior margin. Scutellum convex, 0.8× as long as wide, with very weak and engraved reticulation, meshes isodiametric; scutellar setae situated closer to posterior margin, ratio distances to anterior margin of scutellum/posterior margin of scutellum=1.2. Axilla advanced 0.8× its length in front of scuto-scutellar sulcus. TPS rather strongly curved. Fore wing speculum ± open below (apical seta absent); LW/LM/HW: 2.1/1.0/1.3; postmarginal vein absent. Propodeum smooth and shiny; propodeal callus with two setae.

Metasoma. Gastral tergites smooth and shiny; MM/LG=1.0.
