Basionym:— Pseudomertensia flavescens Rafiq (1996: 296) View in CoL . Type:— PAKISTAN. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Kohistan, Palas Valley, Tikoh Sar, 3000–3500 m, 16 June 1994, R.A.Rafiq 14291 (holo RAW, iso W!).
This taxon is known only from the type (“fls. yellow”), and of one other specimen collected nearby (Palas Valley, Magri–Shushe bek, 2200–2900 m, R.A.Rafiq 14192 (W!, “fl. white”). Other than by discoloured (albino?) corollas, it may not differ substantially from D. trollii View in CoL .
