Fig. 45A, B View FIGURE 45
Saraina deltshevi Azarkina, 2009: 293 View in CoL View Cited Treatment , figs 2–8 (♂).
Material examined. MOZAMBIQUE: Tete: leg. C.F. Roewer, 1♂ ( SMF 9695 About SMF A) .
Description. For a description of both sexes see Azarkina (2009). Palpal organ as in Fig. 45A, B View FIGURE 45 .
Distribution. Hitherto known from western Africa, recorded from Cameroon, Ivory Coast and Nigeria. This is the first record from southern Africa.
Remarks. The single male specimen recorded has a palpal morphology most similar to Saraina deltshevi Azarkina, 2009 , particularly the dorsally directed dorsal tibial apophysis, but differs slightly in the position of the ventral and medial apophyses, which are in the same plane in lateral view ( Fig. 45B View FIGURE 45 ), whereas the medial apophysis of S. deltshevi is slightly more proximally placed on the tibia ( Azarkina 2009: fig. 3). However, we refrain from describing this as a new species until the female can be discovered.
