Theopea flavipalpis species group
Diagnosis. Frons uniform in both sexes. Vertex and pronotum without reticulate microsculpture. Penultimate maxillary palpomere greatly swollen. Pronotum relatively broader, 1.2–1.3x wider than long; disc with one pair of transverse lateral depressions. Procoxal cavities open. Disc of elytra with distinct reticulate microsculpture. Male aedeagus extremely slender, more than 10.0 x longer than wide; apex without notch or with median slit; ventral surface with short, hollow area near apex; strongly curved in lateral view; basal opening medially closed; tectum apically tapering, apex not recurved; internal sac with one pair of longitudinal rows of tiny sclerites along sides of median sclerite. Metatibia without apical spine.
Included species. Theopea flavipalpis Laboissière , T. guoi sp. nov., T. lui sp. nov., and T. sabahensis sp. nov.
