Determination confirmed by D.W. Wrase.. Material: ♀ Tin Sum Tsi 7.viii.06 (Leg. Yiu Vor); 2 exx. Hong Kong, Tai Lung Farm (AFCD) 24.ix.92 (AFCD collection, Tai Lung Farm. Collector C.S.K. Lau. Determined G.G.Kirby). Biology: Imago found August to September. Can be attracted to light.
Amblystomus View in CoL sp. probably guttula ( Dejean 1831) View in CoL
This is probably Amblystomus guttula ( Dejean 1831) View in CoL , but a revision of the Oriental species is urgently needed, until then identification remains unsure (D.W. Wrase, pers. comm.). Material: 1 ex. W.T.L., May 2011 1 ex. W.T.L., 30.viii.12; Sight record 1 ex. W.T.L., 26.viii.13. Biology: Imago found May to August. Can be attracted to light, it is fully winged and capable of flight.
Other specimens possibly correspond to another species of Amblystomus View in CoL . Species of this genus from the Oriental Region need a detailed revision.
