Genus Dischissus Bates, 1873 View in CoL
Dischissus mirandus Bates, 1873
Lee & Winney (1981), Hua (2002) and Häckel & Kirschenhofer (2014a) list this species for Hong Kong. Kirschenhofer (2000) and Häckel & Farka (2012) list Dischissus tsengjialiae Sustek (1996) as occurring in Hong Kong, though Häckel & Kirschenhofer (2014a) synomized it with this species.
Dischissus notulatus ( Fabricius, 1801) View in CoL
Andrewes (1922b) noted a specimen of Panagaeus sumatranus ( C.A. Dohrn, 1891) View in CoL , a junior synonym of this species from Hong Kong. Chaudoir (1878) lists Dischissus longicornis Schaum, 1863 View in CoL , another junior synonym of this species for Hong Kong and Bates (1892) incorrectly states Schaum had described it from Hong Kong specimens, though the type locality given by Schaum was India Orient (Neelgheries) and is noted as occuring in Hong Kong under that name by Saha et al. (1992). Listed as occurring in Hong Kong by Häckel & Kirschenhofer (2014a). Material: 1 ex. W.T.L., 5.v.07; 1 ex. W.T.L., 20.v.12; Ƌ W.T.L., 7.viii.14; 1 ex. W.T.L., 26.vii.08; ♀ W.T.L., 14.ix.13. Biology: Imago found May to July. Can be attracted to light, it is fully winged.
