Subgenus Planetes W. S. MacLeay, 1825 View in CoL
Planetes (Planetes) muiri Andrewes, 1924
New record for Hong Kong. This specimen agrees well with Andrewes & Scott (1925) original description of this species, and differs considerably from the original description of the more widely distributed species Planetes puncticeps Andrewes 1919 ( Andrewes, 1919b) . This species was described from Macao and is only known from the three type specimens. It was not listed by Baehr (2003a). Material: 1 ex. W.T.L., 17.vii.15, after extremely heavy rainfall. Biology: Imago found July. It is attracted to light and is fully winged.
