Amphimenes rugulipennis ( Bates, 1892) View in CoL
New record for Hong Kong and probably the Chinese fauna. Material was determined from specimens by Dr. Martin Baehr. Material: 1 ex. W.T., 4.i.10, night time on footpath railings; 1 ex. W.T., 12.ii.11, inside the trunk of dead tree; 1 ex. W.T., 11.iii.09, on tree; 1 ex. W.T., 24.iv.07, on tree after heavy rain; 1 ex. W.T., 23.v.10; 1 ex. W.T., 9.xi.10, on railings night; 1 ex. Hong Kong, Lantau, Tung Chung valley, 30.ix.14, under bark tree trunk. Biology: Imago found November to May. Nocturnal and arboreal on the trunks of trees and similar structures. Does not come readily to light.
