These four species share the following character states and are therefore grouped together as the triangularis group: Ventral ridge of phallotheca with two or three humps; presence of a large bi or trifurcate spine ventral on phallotheca; left lobe of pygophore larger than right lobe; genital styles spoonshaped in ventral view; fork of Pcu+A1 distinctly basad of the centre of clavus.
