Adult. Wingspan 5.5 mm.
Material examined. China: Daqiutian, Jiulian Mountain, Jiangxi, 18. i. 2013 1 ♀ leg. Jiasheng Xu & Xiaohua Dai Slide No. B12098 ♀.
Host plants. Fabaceae : Pongamia spp., including P. pinnata (L.) Pierre ( Kumata 1993). In the present study, an unidentified plant of Fabaceae is recorded as host for C. magnisignata Kumata from China.
Distribution. China (Jiangxi), India.
Remarks. The specimen was reared from an unidentified legume. The larva creates blotch mine on both upper and lower surfaces of the host plant leaf ( Fig. 10 View FIGURES 10 – 12 ). Image of adult is not included due to the badly worn forewing markings of the only one specimen.
Female genitalia ( Fig. 6 View FIGURES 5 – 9 ) agree with Kumata (1993).
