Mozambique Rain Frog
Material. MOUNT LICO (top): BMNH 2018.2498 – 2500 , PEM A13725–26 View Materials , MHNM: WC-6468. Identification. All specimens conform to the typical B. mossambicus from elsewhere in Mozambique based on the combination of the following: conspicuous facial mask, inner and outer metatarsal tubercles separated, no pale paravertebral or dorsolateral patches/blotches, uniformly dark dorsum, and no white mark above vent. Comments. All specimens were caught in pitfall traps. Although this species was only recorded on top of Mount Lico, it is likely to also occur around the foothills and surrounding areas .
