Type material. Holotype. Bolivia: La Paz Department, Murillo (Mecapaca 16°39’51.5”S, 68°00’56.6”W), III.1980, 1M ( MCN 25528) GoogleMaps . Paratype: La Paz Department, Murillo (Mecapaca 16°39’51.5”S, 68°00’56.6”W), III.1980, 1F ( MCN 25528) GoogleMaps .
Etymology. The specific name is derived from the type locality.
Diagnosis. Males of Euryopis boliviensis n. sp. resemble those of Euryopis nasuta , but E. boliviensis n. sp. differs from E. nasuta in having the apical portion of the conductor with a thin hook-like projection ( Fig. 8C View FIGURE 8 ), absent in E. nasuta , and by the absence of nose-like projection in the clypeus, present in the latter. Females of the E. boliviensis n. sp. resemble those of E. nasuta , but differ by having the second spermathecae further apart ( Figs 9E, F View FIGURE 9 ), and closer to each other in the E. nasuta , and by a larger and more sclerotized copulatory opening ( Fig. 9E View FIGURE 9 ) than in E. nasuta .
