Fig. 16 View FIGURE 16
Material examined. Italy, Matera Province, 40°20.080'N 16°18.414'E, 12.VI.2010, 1 exuvia of mature larva parasitizing Laburrus quadratus (Forel, 1864) (Cicadellidae) .
Description, exuvia. Labrum probably with similar chaetotaxy as in the two species treated above. About 7–8 long bristles visible in position near the anterior margin ( Fig. 16C View FIGURE 16 ). Mandibles ( Fig. 16A View FIGURE 16 ) pointed, without additional teeth. Labium triangular, spinneret narrow ( Fig. 16B View FIGURE 16 ). Bristles on head, thorax, and abdomen numerous and long ( Fig. 16D View FIGURE 16 ). Spiracles of thorax and abdomen similar to those of the two other Anteoninae species studied ( Figs 16E–16G View FIGURE 16 ).
Remarks. The immature larva was found on prothorax of Laburrus quadratus . The cocoon was built in the soil and covered with small particles of river sand ( Fig. 16H View FIGURE 16 ).
