4. Trychopeplus sp. ♀ nymph n4 (PLT of Pericentrus multilobatus Redtenbacher, 1908: 352 ): det. Br. v. W. Pericentrus multilobatus, Collectio Br. v. W., Peru Staudinger, 10.333, Pericentrus multilobatus

Redtenbacher, 1908, Lectotypus, det. O. Zompro XI.1997 [ NHMW, No. 712] .

Remarks: Already Redtenbacher (1908: 352) was in doubt whether the ♀ nymph from Peru represented the opposite sex of Pericentrus multilobatus from Panama and Costa Rica. Becuase most distinguishing features are still undeveloped, consequences are hard to draw with confirmation and naming the specimen as a new species would apparently be unwise without having adult specimens at hand for examination. So, for now this specimen has to remain without a name. This is the specimen that Zompro (2001: 230) unnecessarily selected as the lectotype of P. multilobatus Redtenbacher, 1908 , a selection that already been conducted by Hebard (1923: 359). Body length 33.6 mm.

Distribution: Peru [NHMW].
