Kenyacus View in CoL sp.
( Fig. 51c View FIGURE 51 )
Material examined. 1 ♀, “ UGANDA: Western Region, Kasese District, 9.5 km NWW Nyakalengija, Rwenzori Mts. National Park, main trail from John Matte Hut to Nyabitaba Hut , 0°21.97’N 29°57.58’E, accuracy 200 m, extent 15 m, h = 2800 m, Hagenia , Hypericum , Rubus , Impatiens , big gaps with bushes and grass, sifting leaf litter [3596] [Garmin 60CSx; WGS84] V.I. Gusarov, 17.viii.2008, U162” ( ZMUN) GoogleMaps .
Remarks. This female is very similar in size and other characters to K. berndi sp. n., but has pronotum with much wider base and with sharper basal angles. In addition, it was collected almost 3 km downstream and about 600 m below from the localities of K. berndi sp. n. in the same valley ( Fig. 51c View FIGURE 51 ). To clarify the status of this female specimen additional material, including males, is needed, but it is very likely that it belongs to a separate, still undescribed species.
Body length 3.9 mm, width 1.7 mm.
Proportions. PWmax/PL 1.34; EL/EW 1.44; EL/PL 2.69; EW/PWmax 1.43; HWmax/PWmax 0.76; HWmin/ PWmax 0.65; PWmax/PWmin 1.17; HWmax/HWmin 1.16.
