Material examined. ETHIOPIA: Bench Maji, Dembi Forest (1260 m), 14.IV.2015, R.P.W.H. Felix (1Ƌ, RFPC), B. Massa (1Ƌ, BMPC).

Distribution. According to Ragge (1969), this species occurs over a large part of West and Central Africa, extending from Guinea to Ethiopia, and southwards into northern Angola.

Habitat. Ragge (1969) reports that it is a typical species of high-grass savanna. The collecting site in Ethiopia has no savanna habitat, but is situated in a wet forest edge ( Figure 2 View FIGURE 2 c).
