Type material. Syntypes: deposition unknown. Atlantic Coast of the USA, 39°37’N, 66°47’W. Not seen. Diagnosis. Carapace short, not flattened. Depth. 2178–3806 m. Distribution. Northwest Atlantic, 39°N, 66°W. Remarks. Despite the number of specimens collected, there were no adult males, and no individuals with complete uropods ( Reyss, 1978a). All the specimens had the uropod exopod broken GoogleMaps .
