TYPE MATERIAL. — Holotype: French Guiana. Région de Kaw , 4.IX.1986, O. Bénichou réc. et lég., 1 ♂ ( MNHN ( EH)6345).

Allotype: French Guiana. Same locality as the holotype , 24.VIII.1984, G. Tavakilian réc. et lég., 1 ♀ ( MNHN ( EH)6346).

DISTRIBUTION. — The species is known only from French Guiana ( Boulard 1986b).
