TYPE MATERIAL. — Holotype: French Guiana. Environs de Gare-Tigre , 28.VIII.1975, Michel Boulard réc. et lég., 1 ♂ ( MNHN ( EH)6338).
Allotype: French Guiana. Same data as the holotype, 1 ♀ ( MNHN ( EH)6337).
Holotype and allotype found in copula at 14h30 on a tree trunk at 2.5 m high ( Boulard 1998).
MATERIAL EXAMINED. — “ GUYANE FRANÇAISE / Montagne des Chevaux / 15 mars 2009 Piège à vitre”, 1 ♀ ( MTC).
DISTRIBUTION. — The species is known only from the type series collected in French Guiana ( Boulard 1998).
