Diagnosis. The genus resembles Takayus Yoshida, 2001 and Theridion Walckenaer, 1805 , but can be distinguished by the basically dark body; male pedipalpus with a short and straight embolus; large tegulum; conductor conjugated with tegulum; tegular apophysis small; epigynum without pointed scapus or depression (Yoshida, 2007).
