Type :— PAKISTAN. Chitral : Wet slope above Shokor Shal, Barum Gol, approximately 36°14′N, 71°58′E, 3600 m, 23 July 1950, Wendelbo s.n. (holotype BM000957943 !, isotype K000979317 !) GoogleMaps .
Distribution: —N Pakistan.
Note: —This species most similar to Epilobium williamsii , but can be distinguished by its pubescent inflorescence.
