World distribution. Argentina and Chile.
Chilean distribution. Only recorded from Biobío to La Araucanía region ( Fig. 103 View FIGURE 103 ).
Altitudinal range. From precordillera to the highland ecosystems (1,400–2,800 m.a.s.l.).
Biology and notes. All basic aspects of its biology and ecology remain unknown.
Conservation status. EN under B2ab (iii) using AOO = 8 km 2 and two localities (or subpopulations).
