Curculioninae : Mecinini Mecinus longulus (Desbrochers des Loges, 1893)

Material Examined. 6.III.2012, PT, 1 ex.; 31.III. 2012, BS on Lycium shawii , 1 ex.

Distribution. Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Libya, Tunisia ( Caldara 2013; Caldara and Fogato 2013).

Notes. This species was c ollected using pitfall traps under the canopy of Calotropis procera (Aiton) W.T. Aiton ( Apocynaceae ) and by beating branches of L. shawii .
