3.3. Nigrum group
Diagnosis. Body convex or slightly flattened, very glossy, glabrous, with irregular, very sparse erect setation on forebody; apical segment of maxillary palp two and half times as long as preceeding segment ( Fig. 13 View FIGURES 4–15 ); lateral margins of pronotum with smoothed small crenulation; elytra without elevations, gradually widened apicad or moderately subparallelsided.
Species included: A. nigrum ( Cameron, 1924) , A. anishchenkoi sp.n., A. conjunctum sp.n., A. densepunctatum sp.n., A. ivani sp.n.
Remarks. Species of the nigrum group differ from those of gracilipalpe and morchella groups by the sparse erect setation of forebody, by the flattened crenulation of lateral margins of pronotum, and by the smooth surface of elytra without elevations. The species may be easily distinguished by the shape of the aedeagus.
