Heliothrips zucchi Mound & Monteiro

Described from State of Sao Paulo and also Rio de Janeiro, Adults and immatures of this species have been collected from Anadenanthera macrocarpa in Pedralva , State of Minas Gerais (15.iv.2017) and Descanso, State of Santa Catarina (25.vii.2019), further expanding the recorded distribution. The species differs from other members of the genus in having dark brown femora in contrast to the yellow tibiae .
