Retithrips Marchal View in CoL
Two species are currently recognized within Retithrips . Membership of the genus is recognised by the remarkable callosities on the fore wings, two in R. javanicus but three in R. syriacus . The antennae are stout, 8-segmented but with the suture between VII and VIII occasionally indistinct, and III and IV with forked sense cones. On the head the anterior ocellus is on a conspicuous elevation ( Fig. 64 View FIGURES 52–64 ).
