Described from Trinidad, and recorded from Panama and Cost Rica (ThripsWiki 2020), this species is not recorded but likely present in northern states. It is unusual in having the mesonotum with a complete longitudinal division medially ( Fig. 77 View FIGURES 77–91 ).
