Specimens examined: — BRAZIL. Amazonas , Manaus, RDS-Tupé, 12 November 2012, fl.fr., A. L. Corrêa 101 ( EAFM!, HUAM!, INPA!) ; 06 December 2012, fl.fr., A. L. Corrêa 117 ( EAFM!, HUAM!, INPA!) .
Distribution and habitat: —From Southern Mexico to Brazil ( Berry et al. 2001). In Brazil it occurs in Amazonian florest ( Michelangeli & Reginato 2015). In the reserve it occurs in “terra firme”, more precisely on slopes on clay soil and low organic matter.
Comments: —This species is rare in the reserve. It can be recognized by the suprabasal leaf veins and racemose inflorescences.
