Female body length = 1.19–1.24 mm (n = 15); male body length 1.11–1.23 mm (n = 15).
Colour. Head, mesosoma and metasoma black; clypeus and mandibles yellow-black; radicle, base of A1 yellow-brown, remainder of antenna black-brown; fore leg brown-black except yellow-brown tibia; mid leg and hind leg yellow-brown.
Head. 1.4× as wide as high, 1.6× as high as long. IOS: 0.5× head width, subequal to eye length. POL: LOL: OOL: 21.2: 9.9: 2.2. OOL: 1.2× MOD. Compound eye: ovate (L: W = 21.3: 13.1). Sculpture of orbital furrow: dorsally foveate, ventrally rugose. Inner orbits in frontal view: diverging dorsally. Central keel on frons: present, extending 0.5× the length of frontal depression. Malar sulcus: indicated as a furrow. Shape of frontal depression: trigonal. L: W of frontal depression: 16.7: 13.4. Width of frontal depression: 0.7× IOS. Sculpture of frontal depression: dorsal half smooth with sparse transverse carinae; ventral half with transverse carinae on either side of central keel; reticulate-rugose lateroventrally. Submedian carina of frontal depression: restricted to dorsal half. AOD in dorsal view: 2.1× OOL. Sculpture of frons sans frontal depression: coriaceous reticulate, sparsely setose. Sculpture of vertex: coriaceous reticulate, setose. Hyperoccipital carina: present. Sculpture of gena: coriaceous reticulate.
Mesosoma. L: W of mesoscutum: 21.7: 35.1. Sculpture of mesoscutum: polygonal cells with rugose sculpture, densely setose posteriorly. Scutoscutellar sulcus: foveate. L: W of mesoscutellum: 14.6: 23.9. Sculpture of mesoscutellum: with polygonal cells bearing dense setae. Posterior mesoscutellar sulcus: foveate. Sculpture of metascutellum: anteriorly foveate, posteriorly with a short lamella, notched medially. Posterior margin of metascutellum: lamelliform, notched medially. Sculpture of metanotal trough: foveate. Lateral propodeal area: narrow, rectangular. Sculpture of lateral propodeal area: setigerous foveate. Posterior propodeal projection: short, projecting posteriorly. Pronotal cervical sulcus: with depressions. Sculpture of lateral pronotal area: dorsally with intricate sculpture, ventrally reticulate and posteriorly smooth. Prespecular sulcus: with transverse foveae. Sculpture of speculum: transversely carinate. Femoral depression: foveate. Episternal sulcus: foveate. Postacetabular sulcus: indicated as a furrow. Mesepimeral sulcus: foveate. Sculpture of posterior mesepimeral area: smooth. Mesopleural carina: indicated ventrally. Mesopleural pit: present. Metapleural sulcus: concealed under dense pilosity. Sculpture of dorsal metapleural area: concealed under dense pilosity. Sculpture of ventral metapleural area: concealed under dense pilosity. Paracoxal sulcus: concealed under dense pilosity. L: W of fore wing: 100.5: 36.5 with long marginal cilia. Ratio of length of m: st: pm: 4.3: 6.9: 2.1. L: W of hind wing: 77.3: 14.6. Length of hind wing marginal cilia: 0.41× width of wing. Shape of submarginalis: straight, distant from anterior margin of fore wing before reaching marginalis.
Metasoma. L: W of metasoma: 42.8: 32.8, 1.3× as long as wide. Anterior margin of T1: medially and laterally with projections. Basal foveae on T1: present. Sculpture of T1: longitudinally costate, with rugose sculpture between costae; posteromedially smooth. Sculpture of T2: anteromedially smooth, medially foveate-punctate between longitudinal striae, laterally reticulate, posteriorly smooth; basal foveae present. Length of T2: 7.3× length of T3. Sculpture of T3–T4: anteriorly reticulate, posteriorly smooth. Setation of metasoma: densely setose laterally, sparsely setose posteriorly.
Male. Similar to female. Length of A1–A 12 in ratio of 18.9: 4.5: 3.4: 2.9: 4.5: 4.2: 4.7: 4.7: 4.7: 5.2: 4.5: 7.9, respectively.

Etymology
The species epithet ‘divergens’ refers to the dorsally diverging orbits on frons. The name is treated as an adjective.
Diagnosis
The following character states are unique to this species: dorsally diverging inner orbits in frontal view, entire metapleuron densely setose and metascutellum indicated as a lamella with a medial notch.
