Records. Recorded by hunting calendar (09°15.898′S, 068°58.372′W), opportunistic sightings, hunting inter- views, and camera trapping.
Identification. The body is robust and the head is convex due to its prominent sagittal crest. A straight mane extends from the base of the snout to the middle of the dorsum ( Padillia and Dowler 1994).
