Description derived from earlier literature. Facies: Body ( Fig. 43 View FIGURES 40–50 ) oval, convex, shiny, covered with grey, decumbent pubescence, rather longer on the head and prothorax; head and prothorax black; elytra metallic blue; below brown coloured. Antennae short, terminating in a very short, subconical club. Head strongly and densely punctate. Prothorax about 2× as wide at the base as long, narrowed at the apex, rounded at the sides, finely bordered at the base, anterior margin slightly emarginate; anterior angles rounded; pronotal disc finely reticulate, somewhat less strongly punctate than head; between the marginal striae of the base and the border of this base a very fine line of punctures is present. Scutellar shield subpentagonal. Elytra conjointly about as long as wide, separately rounded at apices, little densely punctate, except the sutural striae; punctation often in rows. Pygidium sparsely punctate; against the base, a line of large, sunken punctures.

Measurements (in mm.): Total length 3.1–3.3, Total width 1.8.

Material examined. The material could not be examined due to non-availability of specimen.

Distribution. INDIA: Sikkim, West Bengal.
