Type locality: off Midway Island, northern Pacific, 28°55' N, 179°38' W, depth ca. 170 meters. Illustrations: Katayama, 1975, fig. 1; Kuiter, 2004:100; Randall, 2007a:190 & 191.

D: X, 19 to 21. A: III, 8. P: 17. GR: 33 to 37 (8 to 11 + 24 to 26). LL: 59 to 62.

Distribution: off the Hawaiian Archipelago (Midway and O’ahu islands and Pearl and Hermes Reef).
