D: X, 13 or 14 (usually 14). A: III, 7 or 8 (usually 8). P: 17 to 20 (usually 18). C: 15 (8 + 7). V: 26 (10 + 16). S: 2. GR: 34 to 39 (9 to 12 + 24 to 29). LL: 54 to 63 (usually 55 to 61). CP: 40 to 46.
Distribution: western Atlantic off southeastern United States from North Carolina to the Florida Keys, from the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea, and from off Tobago, Guyana, and Suriname.
