Diaspidiotus pyri (Lichtenstein, 1881) View in CoL

Borg (1932) recorded this species (as Aspidiotus pyri ) as infrequent on apple and pear trees at Balzan, Lija and Attard. No Maltese specimens have been seen during the present work.
