Distribution. China: Guangxi, Guizhou, Hong Kong.
Host plants. Zanthoxylum scandens (Rutaceae) ( Hong Kong, Guangxi), Z. schinifolium (Guangxi) and Schima crenata (Theaceae) (Guangxi).
Comments. The species originally only was recorded from Zanthoxylum scandens in Hong Kong ( Martin, 1991). With the discovery of some colonies of the species from Zanthoxylum scandens and Z. schinifolium in Guangxi, it is most likely that T. victoriae has a narrower range of hosts than other members of the genus, supporting the idea of Martin (1991). After carefully checking the specimens of Toxoptera from Schima crenata , we found that only 5 individuals are T. victoriae , the others all being T. aurantii . So, further survey will be necessary to confirm if Schima crenata is a true host of T. victoriae .
